Job Description

AbbVie seeks a Global Security Operations Center 2nd Shift Supervisor to oversee security analysts and operations in North Chicago. The role involves incident response, team leadership, and coordination across 24/7 security functions in a Monday-Friday afternoon-evening schedule.

Responsibilities

• Supervise GSOC intelligence analysts and contract communication analysts during assigned shift
• Oversee global event analysis, security alarm systems, surveillance, radio, and fire system operations
• Direct initial response to security incidents and severe global events during shift
• Ensure compliance, training, and certification of analysts according to company and system standards
• Mentor and develop staff, provide performance feedback and yearly reviews

Requirements

• High school diploma required; college degree preferred
• At least 3 years security operations, intelligence center, or equivalent experience
• Prior public or private sector security experience preferred
• Strong oral and written communication and interpersonal skills
• Team leadership and supervisory experience preferred
• Advanced computer skills and security systems administration capability
• Ability to work autonomously and make sound decisions under pressure
